MAGNIFICAT: FROM BAROQUE TO JAZZ

Our winter concert will feature music from two Magnificats. The first by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, entitled “The Magnificat”, is a lovely piece from the baroque era that will remind you of the music you typically hear performed by Andover Choral Society. But then you will want to kick off your shoes and dance to the music of Christoph Schonherr’s “Magnificat: The Groovy Version of OX”, a jazz rendition of the traditional Magnificat.

Open Rehearsals will be held on Monday, September 15 and Monday, September 22 from 7:20 to 9:30 at Christ Church, 33 Central Street, Andover, MA.

Concert tickets are available for $25 in advance ($30 at the door) and $10 for students. A group rate of ten tickets for $20 each is also available.
